Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• GA RN license or multi-state compact eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process in assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation and evaluation with evidence-based care.
• Provides relationship-based, patient-centered care respectful of cultural diversity.
• Partners with patients and families using bedside shift reports and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Coordinates delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care with interdisciplinary communication.
• Supports performance improvement and shared governance initiatives.
• Mentors and precepts professional staff to promote workforce development.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and conducts data collection to address practice questions.
