Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital is seeking APRNs/Physician Assistants for Neurology Critical Care and/or Cardiac Critical Care. Night shift, 7 on/7 off, 7p-7a with a $10/hr night shift differential. APRN, CNP III (Shift) serves within state practice act guidelines.

Requires RN license and APRN license with prescriptive authority; minimum 1 year related experience. Must hold or be eligible for Oklahoma licensure and demonstrate strong communication and patient care skills.

Qualifications

• Masters or higher level educational program in an advanced practice nursing area.
• Has completed the basic professional curricula of a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing.
• Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical services including assessment, intervention and evaluation of care within the scope of practice established by State Law.
• Consults and collaborates with physicians and other health care providers to provide coordinated services to patients and their families.
• Documents services according to policies, including medical records and care plans.
• Performs procedures and treatments as necessary and according to established protocols.
• Promotes patient wellness by providing patient education.
