Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System in Kansas City, MO, seeks a motivated NP or PA to join the Neuro Surgical ICU (NSICU) team on nights. ICU/NSICU experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply with strong RN ICU background.

You will complete a comprehensive 5-month orientation, work with a collaborative team of intensivists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, nursing, and pharmacy professionals, and gain progressive autonomy with advanced procedural training.

Qualifications

• NP or PA with critical care interest and strong teamwork.
• ICU/NSICU exposure preferred.
• ACLS certification required or encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary patient care.
• Provide patient, family, and staff education.
• Evaluate outcomes and adjust plans of care.
