Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for the Neuro Intensive Care Unit. The role requires board certification and an active New Jersey license, with training provided.

Experience in ICU, neurosurgery, inpatient neurology, trauma, surgery, hospital medicine or emergency medicine is preferred to manage neuro-critical care patients with a team of neurointensivists and residents.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Master's degree required (Nurse Practitioner or PA).
• Active New Jersey license; BLS; CDS/DEA.
• Experience in ICU, Neurosurgery, In-patient Neurology, Trauma, Surgery, Hospitalist or Emergency Medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage neuro-critical care patients alongside Neurointensivists and residents.
• Provide coverage for overnights, weekends and holidays (full-time night shift).
• Review imaging as part of patient care.
• Training will be provided to ensure optimal patient care.
