Job summary

Saint Luke's is seeking an Acute Care APP for the NSICU at the Plaza on a night shift basis. The APP will collaborate with Neuro Critical Care physicians and the NSICU intensivist team to deliver high‑level patient care.

Experience level increases autonomy; new grads may apply with fellowship orientation. The role involves close teamwork with neurologists, neurosurgeons, nursing staff, and pharmacy to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• Master's Degree in Nursing or APRN is required.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for advanced practice in the care of assigned patient populations.
• Provide comprehensive clinical coordination of care and case management.
• Provide consultation to influence plan of care for clients.
• Enhance the abilities of others and effect change in the system.
• Uses prescriptive authority procedures and treatments in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Evaluate clients progress in attaining expected outcomes.
• Conduct nursing research.
• Provide education to patient, family and nursing staff and case manages high risk patients.
