Community Health Systems is seeking an EEG Technician to perform EEGs and EVP tests, ensuring safe, accurate procedures and high-quality patient care. The role involves patient assessment, documentation, and maintaining equipment in a clean, organized environment.

Schedule is Monday–Friday starting early morning; on-call availability may be required. This position requires ABRET certification and a focus on accurate billing and scheduling tasks within the department.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal EEG Technician training program preferred.
• 0-2 years of EEG experience or related clinical experience required.

Responsabilités

• Performs EEGs and EVPs as ordered by physicians, following policies.
• Communicates with patients and families to explain procedures and ensure comfort.
• Observes and documents patient condition changes affecting test outcomes.
• Schedules patient appointments and manages follow-up communications.
• Inputs and verifies charges in the computer system for accurate billing.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area with properly functioning equipment.
• Responds to on-call cases and adjusts scheduling.
