Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking an EEG Technician in Tucson, Arizona. A qualified candidate will have completed a formal EEG Technician training program and possess 0-2 years of relevant experience.

This position offers PRN scheduling with varying hours as required by patient needs. Essential functions include patient communication, documentation of condition changes, and maintaining equipment. Basic Life Support certification is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Technical School completion of a formal EEG Technician training program preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in performing EEGs or related clinical experience required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs EEGs and EVPs as ordered by physicians.
• Communicates with patients and families to explain procedures.
• Observes and documents patient condition changes.
• Schedules patient appointments and manages follow-up communications.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Responds promptly to on-call cases.
