Job summary

Elliot Health System is seeking a skilled EEG Technician to perform EEG tests and monitor patients under physician orders. The role includes explaining procedures, preparing patients, and documenting findings in electronic systems.

The position offers a 8a-5p schedule with on-call rotation for nights and weekends, totaling about 24 hours per week. A high school diploma is required, with an Associate’s degree in clinical Neurophysiology preferred, and EEG certification is required.

Qualifications

• EEG testing experience preferred.
• Experience in gathering patient medical history and explaining procedures.
• BLS certification preferred or to be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform EEG tests as requested by physician.
• Explain testing procedures and prepare patients.
• Monitor patient status and note abnormalities during testing.
• Report findings to physician for analysis.
• Enter data in computer modules and manage inventory as needed.
