Job summary

Brown University Health seeks an experienced RN to supervise and provide direct patient care on the Rhode Island Hospital unit in Providence. Under the Clinical Manager, you will lead by delegation, evaluate care, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality discharge planning.

The role requires RI RN licensure (or active Compact licensure), a nursing baccalaureate preferred, and ongoing competency maintenance (BLS, ACLS/PALS as appropriate).

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Rhode Island or active Nursing Licensure Compact.
• Baccalaureate in Nursing preferred.
• NIHSS Certification within 3 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support and ACLS/PALS as appropriate.
• Ability to monitor patient status across the life span.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care.

• Evaluates effectiveness of patient care and identifies improvement opportunities.
