Qualifications

• ASHA certification or CCC preferred
• MA state license required to practice
• BLS certification within 4 months from hire
• 3+ years of Neuro/Cognitive Speech Pathology experience preferred
• Must read, write, and communicate in English
• Strong problem solving and judgment skills
• Professional and courteous communications with patients and staff
• Proficient computer skills and ability to handle confidential information

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology care to patients with TBI, concussion and other neurological disorders.
• Collaborate in an interdisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care.
• Deliver evidence-based assessments and treatment plans tailored to neurological populations.

Job description

Reporting directly to the Speech Pathology Supervisor, the SLP is responsible for providing comprehensive care to our patients with TBI, concussion and other neurological disorders in an interdisciplinary team setting. Ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience and demonstrate specific expertise working with the neurological patient population. No clinical fellowship applicants. ASHA certified and MA state license required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education
  • Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology required.
• Experience
  • Three years of experience as a Neuro/Cognitive Speech Pathologist strongly preferred.
• Licensure and/or Certification
  • Current licensure to practice speech therapy in Massachusetts required.
  • C.C.C. by the American Speech, Hearing & Language Association required.
  • BLS required within 4 months from hire.
