Job summary

Stanford University is seeking a Life Science Research Professional 1 to support a collaborative neural interface program across interventional radiology and bioelectronic medicine. The role involves data analysis, visualization, and close collaboration with faculty, engineers, and scientists to translate mechanistic findings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed by start date in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in scientific computing, data processing, and analysis using numerical, statistical, or ML libraries.
• Experience working with research datasets, including cleaning, quality assessment, analysis, visualization, and interpretation.
• Experience developing or using research software and integrating data from multiple sources or systems.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving across disciplines with independent task execution.

Responsibilities

• Conduct bench, ex vivo, and animal experiments.
• Acquire and synchronize neural, physiological, and stimulation data.
• Analyze and visualize experimental results; maintain rigorous records and reproducible datasets.
• Collaborate across laboratories with faculty, engineers, and scientists to translate discoveries into neuromodulation strategies.
