The City of New Orleans Government is seeking a mid-level Senior Maintenance Technician I to join the Networks multi-skilled workforce in New Orleans. The role supports water distribution, wastewater collections, and mirror meter repairs in a team-based environment.

Candidates must hold a Louisiana Class A CDL and have at least three years of maintenance or related experience, with knowledge of Consent Decree mandates and preventive/reactive maintenance requirements.

This is a mid-level position in the Networks multi-skilled workforce. This individual works collaboratively in a multi-skilled, team-based work environment. Senior Maintenance Technician I work activities includes any combination of the following tasks appropriate for water distribution, wastewater collections and mirror meter repairs. Demonstrates knowledge of Consent Decree mandates including preventive maintenance and related reactive maintenance requirements; and related work as required.

Minimum Qualifications (Original Entrance)

• A valid Louisiana Class "A" Commercial driver's license
• Three (3) years of maintenance and/or construction or related experience.
