Job summary

The City of New Orleans Government is seeking a Networks Maintenance Technician II to join the water distribution and wastewater networks maintenance team. This role covers preventive and reactive maintenance, locating buried meters, and related duties as required.

Networks Maintenance Technician II work activities may include any combination of the following tasks appropriate for water distribution, wastewater collection preventive and reactive maintenance including minor maintenance and location of buried/covered meters; and related work as required.

Minimum Qualifications (Original Entrance)

Eighteen (18) months of maintenance and/or construction experience. High School Diploma or GED *OR* an additional 18 months of full-time experience in maintenance and/or construction.
