Job summary

TekSynap is seeking a Cybersecurity Auditor (Networks) to join the CORA team at Fort Belvoir, VA. You will conduct in-depth assessments of boundary devices, network infrastructure, and VoIP systems to ensure DoD standards are met.

This role includes supporting audit preparation, applying STIGs, addressing vulnerabilities, enabling Zero Trust, and delivering detailed reports with actionable remediation. A Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
• BS in IT/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years in network engineering or cybersecurity.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8140/8570 IAT III certification within 90 days of hire (CASP+, CISSP, CISA, CCNP Security, GCED, GCIH or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Perform technical reviews of firewalls, routers, switches, and VoIP/VVoIP systems per STIGs and SRGs.
• Validate network segmentation, ACLs, and routing protocols for security compliance.
• Assess Zero Trust architecture components and enforce least privilege and micro-segmentation.
• Analyze network logs and configurations to identify vulnerabilities and mitigations.
• Provide technical support to DTRA sites for STIG implementation, vulnerability remediation, and ATO package preparation.
• Develop comprehensive assessment reports and provide prioritized recommendations for remediation.
