Job summary

TekSynap Corporation seeks a Cybersecurity Auditor (Vulnerability Management) to join the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) team at Fort Belvoir, VA. You will perform advanced cybersecurity inspections, assess STIGs, and support real-time decision-making to strengthen national security.

The role offers the chance to work with top cyber professionals on critical defense programs. As part of a high-impact CORA team, you will help identify vulnerabilities across networks, develop remediation

Qualifications

Security clearance required: Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level III certs (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GSLC, CAP, CASP+).
4–10 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
BS degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct reviews of Linux systems for STIG compliance and secure configuration.
Execute vulnerability scans using ACAS and validate remediation efforts.
Assess endpoint security tools (Tanium, Trellix) for proper deployment and configuration.
Review containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) for secure configuration and compliance.
Provide technical support for STIG implementation and ATO documentation.
Develop assessment reports and provide prioritized remediation strategies.
