Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Puerto Rico is seeking a Software Engineer - Test & Automation to validate, test, troubleshoot, and improve networking products. You will develop automation tools and test frameworks using Python, working with Product Management, Systems Engineering, and Development teams to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 5+ years in networking, validation engineering, testing, or quality engineering.
• Strong Python programming and test automation experience.
• Experience with Linux environments and debugging complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and validation procedures for networking products and solutions.
• Perform feature, system, integration, and regression testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex networking and software issues.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks using Python.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Development, and Quality Engineering teams.
• Participate in validation of networking reference designs and customer deployment scenarios.
• Identify, document, reproduce, and track defects through resolution.
• Contribute to release readiness and product quality initiatives.
• Create technical documentation and validation reports
• Work effectively within globally distributed engineering teams.
