Your day at NTT DATA

The Networking Technical Services (TS) Systems Integration Specialist is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for providing technical support to clients. This role involves compiling technical specifications clearly, explaining options' advantages and disadvantages, and creating backup solutions. It also requires working towards professional to expert level certifications while developing business knowledge.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with clients on-site and remotely to meet complex solution requirements.
  • Escalate unresolved problems to relevant third parties.
  • Respond to escalated client requests.
  • Write reports and proposals; maintain project documentation.
  • Assist in documenting standard operating procedures for installations and fixes.
  • Act as coach and mentor to junior Implementation Engineers and Technicians.
  • Coordinate activities of junior Engineers, aligning with performance targets.
  • Contribute to higher complexity design work and input into the design process.
  • Take ownership of relevant technologies based on domain or specialization.
  • Perform other related tasks as required.

Knowledge and Attributes:

  • Strong understanding of technical design and business principles.
  • Fundamental project management and administrative skills.
  • Experience in executing installations and assignments.
  • Excellent customer engagement skills and domain knowledge.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Client-focused with proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, Computing, or related field.
  • Professional certifications in Networking technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNP, JNCIS, ACMP).
  • Cisco DevNet certification.

Required Experience:

  • Extensive experience in technical implementation engineering for Networking technologies.
  • Experience engaging with clients and conducting presentations.
  • Report writing and project management experience.
  • Experience in networking (routing, switching, Wireless, SDI distribution, core and access layers).
  • Diagnosis and troubleshooting expertise.
