Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead enterprise-scale networking initiatives from our Pittsburgh area teams.

You will oversee multi-million dollar networks projects, align roadmaps with business goals, and drive complex data center and WAN/LAN migrations. You will partner with network engineers, security operations, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery, clear reporting, and governance across global environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business or IT-related field and 10+ years of enterprise IT infrastructure and network engineering project leadership.
• Strong networking technology understanding (SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, firewalls, data center architecture).
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred; networking certifications (CCNA/CCNP, Network+) a plus.
• Experience managing multi-million dollar networking initiatives and vendor relationships.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with technology, security, and external service providers.

Responsibilities

• Define project roadmaps, critical paths, and resource allocations for enterprise networking initiatives.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of global networking projects across data centers, offices, and retail environments.
• Partner with telecom vendors and PMs to drive high-impact infrastructure goals aligned with business strategy.
• Provide transparent reporting, executive updates, and audit documentation for network projects.
• Manage risks, scope changes, and change management to minimize downtime.
• Develop standardized project management practices and tooling for network deployments.
• Support vendor negotiations and maintain accountability for performance and cost.
• Supervise network engineers and external contractors to ensure execution excellence.
