Qualifications

• Experience developing software in Golang with a networking focus.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes networking components (Cilium, external-dns, Envoy Gateway, Crossplane).
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Ability to leverage AI tools to boost code functionality and maintainability.
• Promoted best practices in application networking and strong emphasis on testing, observability, and operability.
• Curiosity about distributed systems and scalable service communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and robust application networking features to enhance performance.
• Integrate security controls into networking solutions, ensuring safe interactions.
• Refactor existing code to improve functionality and maintainability while leveraging AI tools.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and conduct load testing to assess scalability.
• Implement performance monitoring tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet needs.
• Identify and tackle networking issues, perform root-cause analysis, and document troubleshooting processes.
• Collaborate with Elastic Engineering teams to fulfill Application Networking requirements.
