Job summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking a Network and Telecommunications Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise network and telecom systems. You will manage network standards, security, documentation, and service delivery with on-site support and up to 25% travel.

The role covers on-premise and cloud-based voice and application services, with focus on performance, capacity planning, and issue resolution. CCNA/CCDA are required; CCNP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of relevant experience.
• CCNA and/or CCDA certifications required; CCNP a plus.
• Experience with cloud migrations and network security through VPN/firewall configuration.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise design, build, and admin of network platforms for stability and performance.
• Manage enterprise network environments across routing, switching, services, VPN, SD-WAN, wireless, and telecom/VoIP.
• Support multi-cloud networking (AWS, Azure) including security groups and NSGs.
