Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Technician II to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This long-term contract position involves a combination of hands-on technical support and network administration. The ideal candidate will travel between multiple sites daily, providing end-user support and contributing to network projects.

Responsibilities
  1. Travel to various locations daily to resolve end-user and equipment issues.
  2. Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, including Windows OS issues.
  3. Support Office 365 and web-based applications.
  4. Build, configure, and maintain network equipment.
  5. Manage tickets in the PeopleSoft system, ensuring timely resolution or escalation.
  6. Assist with network administration and projects.
  7. Provide excellent customer service and communication.
  8. Perform maintenance on networked systems, servers, and storage hardware.
  9. Lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs.
  10. Support Cisco technologies, including routers and firewalls.
Requirements
  1. Strong understanding of network administration, security, and access control.
  2. Hands-on troubleshooting experience in networked environments.
  3. Familiarity with Cisco routers, ASA firewalls, and Checkpoint systems.
  4. Proficiency in Office 365 and Windows OS.
  5. Knowledge of datacenter operations and backup technologies.
  6. Excellent customer service skills and adaptability.
  7. Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel.
  8. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
