Greater Albany Public Schools is hiring aNetwork Technician I to help support technology systems, devices, users, software, inventory, and service requests across the district. This role provides in-person and remote support, uses district management systems, assists with device deployment and configuration, and troubleshoots issues involving hardware, software, connectivity, printing, accounts, and school-based technology operations.
We are looking for a service-minded problem solver who communicates well, learns quickly, and enjoys helping staff and students. GAPS encourages applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Position Overview: This position supports school technology including staff and student computers and mobile devices, classroom peripherals, instructional software, and infrastructure systems. They provide training and instructional support for school and classroom instructional software, hardware, and peripheral equipment and serve as the immediate technical and technology-integration resource for school-based staff and students. They also maintain communication and foster a supportive relationship with the staff at their assigned district sites.
