Seminole County Public Schools is seeking a Network Technician to configure, troubleshoot, and maintain district computer networks and equipment. The role includes setting up PCs to district standards, loading software, performing diagnostics, and maintaining inventories.
You will collaborate with school technology contacts, assist with network installation, and support administrative and instructional networks, including servers, OS, and cabling, while adhering to policy and guidelines.
Seminole County Public Schools uses the statewide screening database, Care Provider Clearinghouse to determine the eligibility of prospective employees. The Care Provider Clearinghouse is administered by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) for background screening results for persons screened for employment or licensure that provide services to children, the elderly and disabled individuals. The Clearinghouse allows the results of criminal history checks to be shared among participating agencies, reducing duplication and costs; including more up to date information and on-line tracking of the screening process.
