Connect Media Solutions in Northwest Oklahoma is seeking a Network Technician to design, install, and maintain wired and wireless networks for diverse clients, including businesses, schools, churches, and nonprofits. • Experience installing and supporting business networks.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking.
• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, NAT, and PoE.
• Experience with wireless networking.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Deploy and manage Ubiquiti UniFi networking equipment.
• Configure VLANs, VPNs, and network security policies.
• Install and terminate CAT5e/CAT6 cabling.
• Test and certify network cabling.
• Install and organize equipment racks.
• Troubleshoot wired and wireless network issues.
• Perform firmware upgrades and device maintenance.
• Assist with internet service installations and migrations.
• Document network configurations and completed work.
• Perform preventative maintenance on client networks.
• Collaborate with the managed services and AV teams.
• Provide exceptional customer service during installations and service calls.

We’re looking for a motivated Network Technician who enjoys designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting business networks while delivering exceptional customer service.

Position Summary

The Network Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting wired and wireless network infrastructure for our clients. This role includes deploying routers, switches, wireless access points, firewalls, structured cabling, and other network equipment while ensuring secure and reliable connectivity.

This position offers opportunities to work on a wide variety of networking projects and grow into a senior technical role as the company expands.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Deploy and manage Ubiquiti UniFi networking equipment
• Configure VLANs, VPNs, and network security policies

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 75 pounds
• Climb ladders and work at heights
• Work in ceilings, attics, and crawl spaces
• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Travel throughout Northwest Oklahoma
