Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Network Systems Engineer for a remote US-based position. The role focuses on sustaining the stability, performance, and scalability of server, network, storage, and voice infrastructure in a remote environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on systems engineering and network operations experience, excels in troubleshooting, implementation, and production support, and collaborates with teams to improve dependability while automating routine tasks across a multi-vendor

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant networking and systems experience.
• Certification in one of the following: M365E/X, LPIC, or Linux+; VCP and CCNP are a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, networking, systems engineering, or a similar field.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Experience deploying servers or embedded systems and sub-components.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with server, network, and storage infrastructure
• Build, configure, and implement virtual and physical server infrastructure
• Identify problem trends to improve system dependability and meet Service Level Agreements
• Maintain and support Microsoft Windows Server and VMWare production environments
• Write scripts and procedures for daily operational tasks
• Support multi-vendor WAN/LAN/MAN environments, including connectivity and configuration management
• Provide VoIP support, including network configuration and QoS classifications

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Network Systems Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will support the stability, performance, and scalability of server, network, storage, and voice infrastructure in a remote environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience across systems engineering and network operations, with an emphasis on troubleshooting, implementation, and production support. You will also partner with operational teams to improve dependability, automate routine work, and help maintain service levels across a multi-vendor technical environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 annually
