Job summary

Oraman IT Solutions Inc. is seeking a Network/System Administrator to support and enhance client infrastructure. You will troubleshoot workstation and server issues, contribute to projects, and uphold IT standards to improve end‑user satisfaction.

Responsibilities include server management (Windows Server, VMware ESX/VSphere), remote access (RDP, VPN), network security (routers/firewalls), and Office 365. You’ll collaborate with a team, ensure disaster recovery readiness, and document RCA

Qualifications

Have a technical diploma or degree.
Fluent English.
Experience setting up routers/firewalls — NAT policies, intrusion prevention, etc.
Experience with Windows Server and Server Services.
Experience installing and configuring Wi‑Fi access points/controllers.
Office 365 suite.
3+ years working at or above a second escalation tier.
Experience designing and implementing projects to replace/upgrade IT infrastructure.
Common sense problem‑solving skills.
Nice to have MSP experience.
Experience with ticketing/time management apps.
Automation tools experience.
Experience with image‑based backup applications and retention policies.

Responsibilities

Handle workstation/server issues or tasks for our customers.
Contribute to implementations for customer infrastructure work.
Implement IT standards and best practices to ensure high degree of end user satisfaction.
Server Administration and Management: Setup, install, configure, administer, maintain, monitor and support physical and virtual servers including Windows 2008/2012/2016, VMware ESX / VSphere.
Remote Access: Configure and maintain remote access technologies and access such as Remote Desktop Services, VPN, SSL VPNs, 3rd party connection apps.
Ensure project deliverables match user’s expectations by proactively informing managers and users of progress/obstacles.
Creation and review of event post‑mortem / root cause analysis (RCA) documentation to ensure accurate and meaningful post‑mortems are created. Review all post‑mortem documents and implement procedures to minimize future service outages and shorten the duration.
Manage customer disaster recovery systems.
