Job summary

Hickory Point Bank & Trust is seeking an IT Network Administrator to oversee the administration, management, and maintenance of the bank's computer network systems and data circuits. You will install, upgrade, and monitor network performance while developing standards for devices such as servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and SD-WAN.

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field or 5+ years of hands-on IT experience.
• Experience supporting and administering networks including Microsoft Windows Active Directory.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, upgrades and monitoring of LAN/WAN and network devices.
• Administer and document system standards for servers, routers, switches, firewalls and SD-WAN.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues with IT team and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and protect confidential information.
• Script to automate tasks and analyze logs.
• Maintain software license compliance and manage user permissions.

Join a team that values your potential, supports your development, and invests in your success.Basic Function:Responsible for overseeing the administration, management and maintenance of computer network systems and data circuits.Responsible for installs, upgrades and monitoring network performance.Develops and documents system standards for computer and network devices.Responsible for recommending and scheduling repairs to the LAN/WAN.Essential Job Duties:Uses network analysis tools to help troubleshoot network performance problems.Perform administrator tasks for the team.Understand, explain, and assist with adherence of internal policy as it pertains to the group and user/customer base.Maintain software license compliance and adhere to company policies and manage Microsoft Active Directory user permissions.Perform light programming/scripting to automate tasks, analyze system logs to identify potential issues.Responsible for administration, setup, and ongoing configuration of networking systems and equipment to include servers, routers/switches, firewalls, wireless AP’s and SDWAN.Participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all systems & network hardware/software, and communication links.Ensure stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, and wireless network services by continually monitoring systems with various networking tools.Troubleshoot network issues with other team members within the IT department and with vendors.
