Networking Technicians
IT Services is seeking applicants for network support technicians that will support the campus data network and will serve on the network engineering team. The network support technician will assist network engineers in maintaining the campus network by fulfilling service and incident tickets, helping with projects, and responding to building network outages. The typical work may include troubleshooting device network onboarding, installing & activating new network ports, configuring network switches, and other client network support tasks. The position requires on-campus shifts.
A successful candidate will be a high-aptitude individual, who shows a passion for information technology, excels with challenging demands, and has excellent time management skills. On-the-job training on specific processes and technologies will be provided.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Multiple shifts available (Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. - <25 hours per week)
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
