Position Summary

The Network Support Specialist role will be focused on providing firmwide infrastructure support and ticket resolution.

What will you do in this role?

  • Triage and resolve all incoming Service Desk tickets to the Infrastructure queue, escalating to the appropriate team members as needed.
  • Provide support for the company’s infrastructure, including but not limited to, data centers, wiring, routers, network printers, servers, conference room equipment, and Azure services.
  • Identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues, whether they are hardware, software, or configuration problems.
  • Assist in troubleshooting, repairing, & upgrading infrastructure and backup systems.
  • Participate in infrastructure projects and acquisitions, along with assisting in phased deployments of new policies and applications.
  • Perform administrative duties within Azure, Entra Id, Office 365, and other third-party software.
  • Work with vendors and carriers to resolve issues.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail & have sense of urgency in high-pressure situations.
  • Provide back up to, and assist the other IT operations team members as needed.
  • Work with IT staff to ensure various environments are consistent with company objectives & compatible with existing applications & security requirements.

What do you need to succeed in this role?

  • Associate degree in computer science (or related field), certifications such as Network+, CCNA, ACSA and/or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years related experience in a business environment.
  • Ability to utilize critical thinking to analyze complex infrastructure problems, diagnose issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in network concepts and protocols including TCP/IP, routing, switching, network security and monitoring tools.
  • Experience with server hardware and operating systems along with working knowledge of on-prem Active Directory and windows domain management.
  • Experience working with Office 365, Azure & Entra Id.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and maintaining network hardware.
  • Basic PowerShell experience.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally & in writing, to technical & non-technical co-workers.
  • Outstanding customer service skills to deliver high-quality support to end-users.
  • Willingness to work and monitor critical alerts non-standard business hours along with travel to remote office locations as needed.

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the base salary range for this role is $65,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, commission, and geographic location.
