Sharp Brains seeks a hands-on Network Field Engineer for a one-day, on-site engagement in Kentucky. Responsibilities include staging equipment, installing Cisco 9800 WLCs, and coordinating cross-connects with remote teams during cutover.
Experience with rack & stack, cabling, fiber, and WLC installations is required, along with ability to prepare devices for return shipment after deployment.

Need Smart Hands / Network Field Engineers
Resources should have experience in rack & stack, cabling, WLC installations, fiber connectivity, and remote support coordination.
Primary Onsite Work
Stage equipment before cutover.
Install 2 Cisco 9800 WLCs per site.
Perform power/network cross-connects, including verifying switchport availability for WLC connections.
Install/connect required SFPs, fiber patch cords, and Ethernet patch cords as per site requirement.
Support remote team during cutover and validate installation.
Remove old WLCs, label, pack, and prepare for return shipment.

Engineers should have console cable, hotspot, label maker, rack screws, and be prepared with/verify required SFP modules, fiber patch cords, and Ethernet patch cords per site.
Additional Recruitment Note: Prefer engineers with network implementation / cabling / smart hands background who can handle both installation and physical connectivity verification.
