Environmental Law Alliance Worldwide (ELAW) is an international NGO, registered in Oregon as a nonprofit. At ELAW, we believe that environmental protection and human rights are inseparable—and that the best solutions come from those closest to the problem. That’s why we support a global network of public interest lawyers and scientists in 80+ countries working to protect communities and ecosystems through law.
Headquartered in Eugene, Oregon, ELAW connects local expertise with global impact—empowering people on the front lines of environmental and human rights challenges.
The Network Support Assistant provides essential coordination and administrative support to ELAW's global Network by assisting the Network Support Associate and Regranting Manager with the day-to-day administration of network activities, subgrants administration, partner engagement, and database management. This role helps ensure accurate information, organized processes, and responsive support for ELAW's international community.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys coordinating multiple projects simultaneously while supporting partners across cultures and time zones. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to help mission-driven programs operate efficiently and effectively.
You are a detail-oriented professional, strong communicator, and passionate advocate for environmental and human rights. You thrive in a collaborative, cross-cultural environment and enjoy supporting teams by keeping projects organized, information accurate, and operations running smoothly.
This is an opportunity to be part of an international community working for justice, sustainability, and a healthy planet. At ELAW, you’ll collaborate with passionate colleagues in Eugene and around the world, helping ensure that communities everywhere have the tools and partnerships they need to defend their rights and environments.
You’ll join an organization that values curiosity, humility, integrity, and cross-cultural respect — and where your work will directly contribute to a fairer, cleaner, and more sustainable future.
We actively seek applicants from diverse backgrounds and encourage applications from those historically underrepresented in the legal field.
ELAW is committed to equity, inclusion, and justice in our work and in our workplace. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, age, disability, immigration status, sexual orientation, or any other protected identity.
