Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Network Specialist in Columbus, OH to install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues. The role includes supporting security measures and documenting configurations.

You will collaborate with senior engineers on upgrades, and candidates with CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are a plus. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Certifications such as Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software.
• Lead and coordinate project planning and management to ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Support network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement network upgrades and new technologies.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and changes.
• Provide technical support to end-users and other IT staff as needed.
• Participate in routine network maintenance and scheduled audits
