Job description

Moonshot is seeking an entry level Network & Training Specialist to support the coordination of partnerships and specialized training programs across multiple violence prevention projects. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to work independently with oversight from project managers.

Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr - $78,000.00/yr

This role requires occasional travel to client sites in different locations across the U.S. and Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Network Logistics: Support managers in maintaining and updating network data, including large contact lists; collect and analyze data on network needs; support solutions to increase network effectiveness.
• Training & Event Support: Under direction, coordinate logistics for specialized training programs and events, including scheduling, venue coordination, agenda tailoring, attendance tracking, impact metrics, invoicing, and payment processing.
• Technical Support: Understand technical platforms (e.g., CRM, project management, virtual training, website) and address technical issues.
• Work with demanding, high‑tempo reporting schedules for clients under manager guidance.

• Commitment: Genuine interest in Moonshot's mission to reduce online harms and prevent violence.
• Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. and will undertake and pass any relevant security clearance procedures per client needs.

Desirable

• Professional knowledge or experience in behavioral threat assessment, school safety, hate crimes, targeted violence, terrorism, or other violence prevention areas.
• Research and/or data analysis skills.
• Project management experience.
