Apex Systems is hiring a Network Solution Design Specialist for a DISA-focused project in Columbus, OH. The role requires a current DoD Secret clearance and is on-site with typical first or second shift schedules.

The contract duration is six months with a potential to become permanent, and pay ranges from $30 to $32 per hour depending on experience. The specialist will manage provisioning end-to-end, from order entry and preparation to design, activation, and QoS configuration.

Qualifications

• US Citizens with ability to obtain/maintain a DoD-issued Secret Security Clearance.
• 2+ years in a military communications field or related discipline; OR 2+ years in accredited technical training with 1 year in the related field.
• On-site role in Columbus, OH with standard DHS/DISA security requirements.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning, investigation, design, and implementation of communications solutions for the DISA program.
• Apply DISA processes to integrate solutions across classified/non-classified networks.
• Collaborate with customers and vendors to define needs and provide software, hardware, and network support.
• Prepare workprints, schematics, and design tools to illustrate network structures and solutions.
• Evaluate network usage, optimize servers, and ensure configurations meet performance goals.
• Maintain documentation and ensure proper order fulfillment across teams.
