Job summary

Abacus Technology is seeking a Network Services Engineer to support the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position that will contribute to designing, implementing, and maintaining critical voice, data, and video networks in a DoD environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of network admin/engineering experience, including DoD.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; additional experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls; security focused.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support network planning, design, testing, and maintenance of voice, data, and video networks.
• Analyze and recommend network requirements and architecture.
• Monitor capacity and performance; diagnose and resolve issues.
• Install, test, and upgrade network operating systems software.
• Ensure information security and cybersecurity policies are applied.
• Provide guidance to system admins and help desk staff.
