Job summary

U.S. Bank in Charlotte is seeking an Information Security Engineer to implement and support security solutions, analyze systems, networks, and applications, and mentor junior team members in risk mitigation.

You will help manage Akamai, Netskope, DNS, proxies, cloud onboarding, and related security infrastructure, applying policies and driving continuous improvement across enterprise security controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, support, and optimization of enterprise network security solutions.
• Design and maintain secure network architectures, standards, and security frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership and security guidance for enterprise technology initiatives.
• Identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and control gaps; develop mitigation strategies.
• Deploy and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, proxy technologies, and network security controls.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging cybersecurity technologies and security enhancements.
• Develop, interpret, and enforce security policies, procedures, and governance standards.
• Mentor engineers and communicate security risks, recommendations, and solutions to stakeholders.
