Job summary

ADP is seeking a Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust network security solutions across our global infrastructure. You will protect data and systems, monitor threats, and lead incident response with agility.

You will work with Cisco ASA, Fortinet, and Palo Alto firewalls, use Splunk for monitoring, and perform regular vulnerability assessments. Strong teamwork and proactive thinking are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.
• Proven experience with Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto firewalls and configuring firewall rules and policies.
• Strong knowledge of intrusion detection systems and network security principles.
• Experience using Splunk or similar Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools for monitoring and analysis.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs and network protocols relevant to security engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto firewalls and other network security appliances to protect organizational assets.
• Monitor network traffic and security alerts using Splunk to detect and respond to potential threats promptly.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation in alignment with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security enhancements and support incident response activities.
