Job summary

Kiya.ai is seeking a Network Security Engineer to deliver hands-on firewall and load-balancing deployments, focusing on FortiGate and related technologies across enterprise environments.

You will design, configure, and troubleshoot security policies, VPNs, and VIP-based traffic while creating design docs and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive projects from planning to go-live.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and deploying FortiGate firewalls in enterprise environments.
• Proven background with load balancers (F5 LTM/GTM) and VIPs.
• Experience translating requirements into project-based engineering tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network security issues and provide resolutions.
• Strong documentation skills for high-level designs and low-level diagrams.
• Effective communication with multiple stakeholders across projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement FortiGate firewall policies and VPNs across campuses or data centers.
• Deploy and tune F5 load balancers, configure VIPs and health checks.
• Manage project engineering tasks from planning through go-live.
• Create and maintain high/low level design documentation (HLDs/LLDs).
• Configure security policies and rule bases to meet business requirements.
• Troubleshoot firewall and load balancing issues to resolution.
• Collaborate with network, security, and project teams to ensure smooth delivery.
