ExxonMobil is seeking a Network Security Engineer to design, engineer, and manage the enterprise security posture across global IT services from its Houston campus. You will work with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and other controls while applying DevOps principles to drive automation, scalability, and resilience.

You will collaborate with network, infrastructure, application, and cybersecurity teams to strengthen security across data centers, offices, and edge environments.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in network security.
• Experience with network security platforms: Cisco ASA (CSM), FTD (FMC), FortiGate (FortiManager), Juniper SRX (Junos Space).
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, routing and switching.
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, encryption and incident response.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field; certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and manage network security technologies across multiple environments.
• Research and recommend industry best practices in network security.
• Operate and maintain security appliances (Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper) including upgrades.
• Build and manage security infrastructure using DevOps practices and automation tools.
• Support security operations: monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, projects, and internal customers; develop runbooks and docs.
