Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage the enterprise security posture across global IT environments. You will operate security appliances, drive automation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to protect against evolving cyber threats.

You will contribute to security operations, advise on best practices, and help maintain robust documentation and processes. A 3+ year background in network security and relevant certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on network security experience.
• Experience with Cisco ASA, FortiGate, Juniper SRX platforms.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, routing/switching, ACLs.
• Knowledge of VPNs, IDS/IPS, encryption, incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network security across regions and environments.
• Research and recommend industry best practices in network security.
• Operate and maintain security appliances (Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper) with upgrades.
• Build and manage network security infra using DevOps and automation.
• Support security operations: monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management.
• Coordinate with Cybersecurity, Projects, internal customers.
• Develop and maintain operational processes and documentation.
