Esoftlabs seeks a Network Engineer to support and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across campus, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and cloud environments. The role emphasizes high availability, performance, and reliability with a focus on automation and operational excellence.

You will monitor and troubleshoot routing, switching, SD-WAN, VPN, and wireless technologies; collaborate with vendors and service providers; and contribute to incident management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise network environments.
  • Expertise in Cisco Routing & Switching, BGP/OSPF, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, QoS.
  • Proficient with SD-WAN (Velocloud), Meraki wireless, VPN and WAN connectivity.
  • F5 Load Balancer experience; familiarity with network monitoring tools (Wireshark, tcpdump, Dynatrace, SolarWinds).

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure across campus, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, VPN.
  • Perform proactive health checks and use monitoring tools to ensure stability.
  • Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.
  • Collaborate with vendors, ISPs, and cross-functional teams to address connectivity and service issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement to reduce outages and MTTR.
  • Develop automation and scripting to streamline operations.
  • Participate in on-call support and maintain operational documentation.

Network Engineer for Operations Support
Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support and optimize enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability across campus, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in networking technologies, proactive problem-solving skills, and a passion for automation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including routing, switching, SD-WAN, wireless, WAN, and VPN technologies.
  • Perform proactive health checks and leverage monitoring tools to ensure network stability and performance.
  • Investigate and resolve network incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.
  • Collaborate with vendors, ISPs, and cross-functional teams to address connectivity and service issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce outages and improve Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR).
  • Develop automation and scripting solutions to streamline operations and eliminate repetitive tasks.
  • Participate in on-call support, able to handle Bridge calls as part of critical incidents troubleshooting and maintain operational documentation.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise network environments.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in:
  • Cisco Routing & Switching
  • BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, QoS
  • VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, LACP
  • SD-WAN (VMware Velocloud preferred)
  • Enterprise Wireless Technologies (Cisco Meraki)
  • WAN, VPN, and Internet connectivity troubleshooting
  • F5 Load balancer
  • Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Experience working directly with cusCCtomers, vendors, and service providers.
  • Strong experience on ITSM Processes and Tools (ServiceNow)
  • Incident Mgmt/Change Mgmt/Problem Mgmt/Config Mgmt
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, Any cloud Basic knowledge
  • Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
