Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join Network Operations. You will design, implement, troubleshoot, optimize, and support enterprise network services that power business growth and superior customer experiences.

In this role, you will provision services, drive lifecycle improvements, and maintain documentation and monitoring. You’ll support international expansion and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance networks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Network Operations for enterprise environments.
• Expertise with Cisco Meraki platform (switching, wireless, SD-WAN, cloud ops).
• Strong knowledge of routing, VPNs, and network troubleshooting methodologies.
• Experience connecting enterprise networks to Azure/AWS cloud.
• Ability to manage lifecycle, maintenance windows, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Proficient in documentation, change management, and incident response.
• Experience with automation using Python/PowerShell or APIs.

Responsibilities

As part of the Network Operations Team, you will be a key member responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, optimizing, and supporting enterprise network services that enable business growth and exceptional customer experiences.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Provision and support network services to maintain a balance of capacity, performance, and reliability
• Proactively drive lifecycle management initiatives to keep infrastructure platforms current and vendor supported
• Define, develop, and maintain documentation that supports operational excellence, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting
• Support network expansion projects for new company locations, both domestically and internationally
• Assist with network design, implementation, and optimization efforts across routing, switching, and wireless platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and technology deployments
• Support operational response efforts for major incidents, problem management, and root cause analysis
• Participate in change management processes and peer reviews to ensure service stability
• Develop and maintain automation workflows that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency
• Leverage monitoring and observability platforms to proactively identify opportunities for improvement
• Deliver solutions that improve customer and end-user experiences through stable, high-performing network services

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

MUST HAVE

• 5+ years of Network Operations experience supporting enterprise routing, switching, wireless, and network security technologies
• Deep expertise with the Cisco Meraki platform, including switching, wireless, SD-WAN, security, and cloud-managed network operations
• Strong understanding of network architecture, routing fundamentals, traffic flows, VPN technologies, and network troubleshooting methodologies
• Experience supporting connectivity between enterprise networks and public cloud environments such as Azure and AWS
• Experience with network lifecycle management, upgrades, maintenance windows, and operational excellence initiatives
• Strong documentation, change management, and incident response experience
• Experience with automation and scripting technologies such as Python, PowerShell, APIs, or similar tools used to improve operational efficiency
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex network issues across LAN, WAN, wireless, cloud, and security domains
• Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer and end-user experiences
• Self-motivated with a demonstrated passion for continuous learning, professional growth, and staying current with emerging technologies

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Grafana, including dashboard development, alerting, visualization, and operational monitoring.
• Experience with network observability, digital experience monitoring, and performance monitoring platforms
• Experience integrating monitoring and observability platforms, APIs and telemetry data sources to create actionable operational insights and proactive alerting capabilities
• Azure and/or AWS Certifications
• Webex Administration experience
• Experience supporting global or multi-site enterprise environments
