Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Waltham, MA seeks a seasoned Security Architect to design, implement, and maintain comprehensive network security solutions. You will lead firewall deployments, IAM/MFA strategies, cloud security across multiple platforms, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.

The role requires expertise in SDLC/Agile delivery, vulnerability management, and close collaboration with IT teams to uphold a robust security posture.

Qualifications

• Design and implement network security infrastructure aligned with policies and standards.
• Experience with firewall policies, IAM, MFA, RBAC, and PAM implementations.
• Knowledge of cloud security across Azure, AWS, and OCI.
• Understanding of LAN/WAN, DMZ, routing, switching, and subnetting.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and maintain an organization’s network security infrastructure, including Firewalls, IDPS, Proxy, Load Balancers, VPN, WAF.
• Design and manage firewall policies and access controls including MFA and IAM solutions.
• Assess cloud network security and topologies across different environments.
• Ensure security measures align with GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS and other standards; conduct regular audits.
• Familiar with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls; monitor security threats and incidents.
• Coordinate with IT teams to ensure holistic security posture across systems.
• Explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executives.
• Provide staff training on network security best practices and maintain documentation.

• In-depth understanding of cloud network security, different network architectures (e.g., LAN, WAN, DMZ) and topologies, network protocols, routing, switching, and subnetting.
• Ensure network security measures are aligned with relevant compliance standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS). Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and address compliance gaps.
• Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks like NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, and CIS Critical Security Controls.
• Familiarity with the use of standard security technology solutions and processes such as user provisioning, directory, SIEM, vulnerability management, Cloud Security (OCI/Azure/AWS), Web Security, Email Security, Logging and Monitoring, General PKI and Cryptography.
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance network security posture. Monitor network traffic for unusual activities and potential security breaches.
• Work closely with IT teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and application developers, to ensure a holistic approach to security.
• Communicate complex security concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and executives.
• Technical background with experience in solution delivery including SDLC, security tools and technologies, and Agile framework.
• Provide training and guidance to staff members on network security best practices
• Maintain accurate documentation of network security configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Minimum 5 years’ Experience as a Security consultant, Security Architect or equivalent.
• Hold any Certification like Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, F5, CompTIA, Zscaler, Azure, AWS, CISS P, CCSP, ISSAP, ITIL etc.
