Job summary

Neos Talent is seeking a hands-on Network Security Engineer to support a major financial services environment in the NYC/Jersey City area. You will work with Check Point, Fortinet and F5 technologies in a production-focused role requiring depth across firewall, proxy, DNS and load balancers.

Hybrid work pattern with typical on-site presence three days per week, plus a healthcare and benefits package. This is a BAU/L3-L4 engineering position in a regulated enterprise where rapid issue resolution

Qualifications

• Recent hands-on depth across firewall, proxy, DNS and load-balancing technologies.
• BAU / L3-L4 production support experience in an enterprise network security environment.
• Experience in financial services or regulated enterprise is a plus.
• Strong TCP/IP, routing and application connectivity troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Firewall policy changes, NAT, VPNs, rule reviews, upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Operational experience with F5 LTM / GTM.
• DNS / DHCP support, ideally using Infoblox.
• Proxy experience, ideally Blue Coat and/or McAfee.
• L3/L4 production support including incidents, change windows, RCA and documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting across TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, proxies and application connectivity.

Network Security Engineer — Check Point / Fortinet / F5

New York / Jersey City | Hybrid | $125k–$160k + Benefits (including health insurance)

Neos Talent is supporting a live requirement for a hands-on Network Security Engineer to join a major financial services environment in the NYC / Jersey City area.

This is a practical, production-focused role supporting critical network security infrastructure. It is best suited to someone who enjoys being close to the technology, solving live issues, managing controlled changes and supporting a highly regulated enterprise environment.

This is not a general network support role and it is not a high-level architecture position. The key requirement is recent hands-on depth across firewall, proxy, DNS and load-balancing technologies.
