Source One Technical Solutions is looking for a Network Security Engineer to consult for an autonomous ride-hailing company in Foster City, CA. Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in network security engineering within production environments.
• 6+ years of IT systems or application engineering/administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS network security services and architectures.
• Experience with next-generation firewalls/UTM devices and VPNs.
• Strong understanding of the OSI model and Layer 7 security concepts.
• Knowledge of PKI, cryptography, and certificate management.

Source One is a consulting services company and we’re currently looking for the following individual to work as a consultant to an autonomous ride-hailing company in Foster City, CA.

We are unable to work with third-party companies for this role.

Title: Network Security Engineer - Contract

Duration: 1 year (likely extension)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support network security solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, URL filtering, and network access control
• Manage AWS network security configurations (VPCs, security groups, NACLs, Transit Gateway, AWS Network Firewall)
• Support secure remote access solutions, including VPNs
• Implement and maintain network access control (e.g., 802.1X)
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize security systems for performance and reliability
• Contribute to evolving network security architecture, standards, and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure infrastructure and deployments
