Job summary

MDP Global is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer in Ann Arbor, MI to lead Fortinet offerings for large MSP accounts. The role combines security design, deployment, and project leadership, with hybrid work from the Ann Arbor office and remote options for the right candidate.

You should have deep Fortinet expertise (FortiGate, FortiNAC, FortiCloud), a strong Cisco R&S background, and MSP project experience.

Qualifications

• Deep Fortinet expertise across FortiGate, FortiNAC, and FortiCloud.
• Strong background in Cisco routing & switching (R&S).
• Experience with large-scale network refresh projects (switches, wireless AP, network security).
• MSP experience strongly preferred.
• Microsoft infrastructure/security background a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a core technical resource for the MSP's largest and most strategic accounts.
• Design, deploy, and manage large-scale Fortinet security offerings, including FortiGate, FortiNAC, and FortiCloud.
• Lead network refresh projects spanning Cisco routing & switching, Fortinet switches, and Fortinet wireless access points.
• Architect and implement network security and firewall solutions across client environments.
• Scope and estimate project work, including anticipated time on-site to configure a new firewall and other network refresh engagements.
• Write and contribute to statements of work (SoWs) for client engagements.
• Support integrated network security and infrastructure projects alongside the Microsoft practice.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients throughout project delivery.

We're working with a growing managed services provider (MSP) to find a high-level Fortinet Security Engineer to help lead their large-scale Fortinet offerings. A strong Microsoft background is a big plus — this can be a hybrid security/infrastructure role for the right person.

Location: Ann Arbor, MI preferred (most large accounts are local to the area); open to remote for the right candidate Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience
