Title : Network Security Architect (Palo Alto Focus)

Remote

Type : Long-Term Contract

Rate : $80 $90 / hr (W2 or C2C)

Responsibilities :

Design and implement network security solutions using Palo Alto firewalls (NGFW, Panorama, GlobalProtect).

Define and enforce firewall rules and security policies across on-prem and cloud environments (AWS / Azure).

Conduct risk assessments, network segmentation strategies, and zero trust architecture initiatives.

Collaborate with security, networking, and cloud teams to ensure secure, scalable designs.

Provide documentation, guidance, and mentorship to engineering teams.

Requirements :

7+ years of experience in network security architecture.

Expert-level knowledge of Palo Alto firewall platforms.

Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform) a plus.

Strong understanding of cloud networking and security best practices.

Palo Alto certifications (PCNSE, PCNSA) preferred.
