Job summary

Novalink Solutions LLC is seeking a Junior Network Security Analyst to support the Office of Cybersecurity. You will assist with hands-on security tasks, monitor alerts, and collaborate with teams to enforce security controls.

The role requires 3–5 years of network security experience, knowledge of Windows/Linux, and familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST/HIPAA. This on-site position offers growth within a government-facing security program.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience in network security design, implementation, or support.
• IT security or system administration experience.
• Working knowledge of secure network design and compliance tools.
• FISMA, NIST, HIPAA familiarity (preferred).
• Cloud network security controls (Azure or AWS) understanding.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maturing network security and compliance solutions.
• Investigate and respond to daily network alerts.
• Perform network security assessments for firewall and infrastructure changes.
• Conduct technical analysis for network security planning and engineering.
• Review connectivity, firewall rules, and web access to ensure low risk.
• Develop, review, and analyze network traffic reports for policy compliance.
