Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Network Security Analyst I to monitor and analyze cybersecurity events in a fast‑paced CSOC environment from Austin, TX. You will triage alerts, identify threats, and coordinate containment and remediation with cross‑functional teams.

The role emphasizes investigation of incidents, collaboration with engineering and security teams, and maintaining thorough incident records while supporting ongoing improvements to detection capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience monitoring security events using SIEM, EDR, and cloud security platforms.
• Ability to investigate security events, determine severity, and coordinate responses.
• Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and vulnerability remediation processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts from SIEM/EDR and cloud security platforms.
• Investigate security events, determine severity and impact, and coordinate response.
• Escalate confirmed threats to Incident Response or SOC teams as needed.
• Document investigations and actions in ticketing systems for audit trails.
