Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's in IT/cybersecurity or related field with 5+ years hands-on experience; or 3+ years with Bachelor's and related fields; or equivalent.
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, network segmentation, secure remote access.
• Cloud/hybrid infrastructure familiarity, IAM, MFA, endpoint security, vulnerability management, central monitoring/logging.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, interpret data, document findings, and drive to resolution.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain tech to non-tech audiences.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and improve secure LAN/WAN, wireless, internet, VPN, and cloud connectivity across locations.
• Support next-gen firewalls, SD-WAN, NAC, secure remote access, segmentation, and resilient connectivity.
• Monitor platforms, investigate alerts, identify root causes, and coordinate remediation.
• Assist with incident response, vulnerability management, risk assessments, and security controls.
• Manage identity, privileged access, and least-privilege access controls.
• Partner with teams to securely integrate cloud services/plant systems.
• Maintain network diagrams, configurations, asset records, and incident docs.
• Use data to improve availability, capacity, reliability, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Plan and implement updates per change-management practices.
• Coordinate with vendors, track issues, verify solutions meet requirements.
• Participate in on-call rotations and maintenance activities.
